Cookie Dough Dip is a sweet, chocolate-y dip that is so good on so many things, you won’t be able to get enough! A creamy buttery base is mixed with brown sugar and vanilla. This is perfect for dipping fruit, cookies or a spoon!

This is the perfect way to enjoy the flavor of your favorite Chocolate Chip Cookie dough in a perfectly scoopable form!

Extra Creamy Cookie Dough

I would be lying if I said I didn’t love the dough from cookies as much as I love the cookies themselves! It doesn’t matter if they’re Oatmeal Chocolate Chip Cookies, Triple Chocolate Cookies or Cake Mix Cookies; sneaking bites of raw cookie dough is kind of my thing. While I do sneak bites, we’ve also all heard that it’s not a great idea to eat raw eggs or raw flour. Try edible cookie dough or this easy cookie dough dip instead! Now, we’re talking!

How to Make Cookie Dough Dip

The best part about this easy cream cheese cookie dough dip is that it has so few ingredients. Before starting make sure all of these ingredients are room temperature so they blend together well.

  1. Cream butter, cream cheese and brown sugar until fluffy.
  2. Add powdered sugar and vanilla. Continue to beat until smooth.
  3. Stir in the mini chocolate chips and chill at least 30 minutes.

Every cookie dough dip recipe has butter in it, because it’s a binder (and of course cookie recipes need butter). Cream cheese is a great base and adds a scoopable creamy texture! Vanilla and chocolate add great flavor of course!

What to Serve with Chocolate Cookie Dough Dip

Almost anything goes with this amazingly sweet and tasty dip! Fruit slices of any kind, or even crackers, or cookies!  Why not try it as a spread on toast, pancakes, or waffles? Try it as a decadent chocolate chip cheesecake cookie dough dip with French toast roll ups or even pretzel rods!

Can You Freeze Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough?

You sure can! This recipe does well frozen and can be enjoyed frozen too! Cookie dough ice cream anyone? I freeze it in small single portions, just enough to take some out and curb that craving!

  • To Freeze: Just make sure it’s in an airtight zippered bag or container and labeled with the date.
  • To Thaw: Take it out of the freezer and let it come to room temperature on its own. Give it a thorough stir and add a little more vanilla or salt to brighten the flavors a bit.

Once thawed serve it with all your favorite dippers or as spread on your favorite things!
