3 Ingredient Pineapple Angel Food Cake is amazingly easy & delicious! With cool whip topping, this quick recipe takes just one bowl for a no fail dessert! (The cake itself is also fat free )!

When you are purchasing your Angel Food Cake Mix, be sure it’s the box that contains just one package… there are a few cake mixes that contain 2 packets and they will not work in this recipe.

This is one of my favorite cakes to serve for Easter and Mother’s Day!

Ingredients

  • 1 box Angel Food Cake mix 16 oz
  • 1 can 20 oz crushed pineapple with juice
  • 1 tub cool whip

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Line a 9×13 pan with parchment paper.
  3. In a large bowl combine cake mix and undrained crushed pineapple. Pour into the prepared pan and bake 35 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean. Cool completely.
  4. Remove cake from the pan and frost with cool whip.

  1. I was looking for the recipe for just yellow cake mix, crushed pineapple & cool whip. Made it before; it was great and super easy! I just can’t remember the directions for the cake mix. It was not per the box. It either used more or less eggs, no water or maybe less oil…..please help!

  2. I made this today, turning the batter out into cupcakes for a baby shower! I only needed 18 cupcakes but the recipe makes 32 … So, yes, I tried them! Delish! I will be frosting with cool whip and adding sprinkles just prior to serving!
