Ingredients

MeatballsI used lean frozen meatballs but ANY type of meatball can be used for these! You can even use leftover homemade turkey meatballs!

Biscuit Dough – premade biscuit dough makes this recipe quick and easy to prepare. Change it up and wrap the mummies in homemade pizza dough or premade crescent dough.

Dipping Sauce – Serve with your favorite dipping sauce! Try marinara or pizza sauce, or serve with ranch or even buffalo sauce for a spicy twist!

Decorations – Buy edible eyeballs or make your own with cheese and olives for the pupils.

Wrapping up the Meatball Mummies

How to Make Meatball Mummies

  1. Thread meatballs onto a strand of spaghetti, this stabilizes them enough so you can wrap them easily.
  2. Wrap with dough and remove the spaghetti strand.
  3. Bake (as per recipe below), then add your eyeballs!

Serve with your favorite dipping sauce and enjoy!

Tips To Easily Add Eyeballs

To easily stick eyeballs onto your mummy use a dab of ketchup or mayo to hold them in place! Depending on the size, you can wedge them slightly between the wrappings for extra hold!

Or skip the edible eyeballs and just add dots with ketchup and mayo for an easy alternative!

  1. I made these on Halloween, Kids and husband loved them, so I’m making again now! I used a straw to cut out cheese, from a square block, for the eyes and then used the straw to punch in holes in the meatballs for the cheese to sit in. Worked great. Thanks for the recipe :)

  3. I am making these for work for a Halloween themed potluck. Anyone have any ideas of how to keep these warm for a few hours before they get served without getting mushy? I was thinking maybe a crockpot with the lid off?
