Yes, bean soups freeze beautifully and the bean soup recipes above can be frozen. Freeze in single portions for up to 4 months and thaw in the refrigerator overnight.
If you’d like a thicker bean soup, mash a few of the beans with potato masher. You can also add mashed potato flakes if you have them on hand. If it’s too thick, add a splash of broth or water to thin it out.
