This all-in-one recipe is a great addition to pumpkin pie, cakes, cider, eggnog, and even hot buttered rum! And of course…. apple pie!

We love this spice blend because it is so versatile! It will keep up to a year in the pantry so you can use it all year long!

Sprinkle it on toast with butter, or add a dash or two into a vanilla smoothie, cappuccino, or mocha drink! Homemade apple pie spice can be mixed into vanilla yogurt, brown sugar baked oatmeal, or even a homemade applesauce recipe!

How to Make Apple Pie Spice

So what is in apple pie spice? Cinnamon as you’d expect; but we add in other bright, fragrant, and warm spices. This can be used in almost any recipe that calls for Pumpkin Pie Spice.

(Printable recipe below)

      • 3 tablespoons cinnamon
      • 1 teaspoon nutmeg
      • 1 teaspoon allspice
      • ½ teaspoon ginger

VARIATIONS For a different twist, mix it with brown or white superfine sugar and add to coffee or smoothie drinks. We also like to add some cardamom and even a tiny bit of white pepper really punches up the flavor. Make your own signature spice blend to use.
