Jalapeno Popper Crescent Cups in a muffin tin with one missing

We love Jalapeno Poppers around here!  I’ll pretty much each jalapenos any which way they’re served…  grilled, in a jalapeno popper dip or even as an egg roll!

I actually make Jalapeno popper dip frequently and it’s one recipe everyone always asks for.  I figured that same delicious dip would be amazing in an easy to hold two-bite appetizer.  Let me tell you, I was right.. these are delicious!  I recently brought these to a party and they were a smashing success…  and of course I was asked for the recipe (so be sure to print a few extras)!

  1. These were a huge hit for an end of summer party! I substituted a 7 ounce can of chopped green chilies and added one fresh diced jalapeño pepper. A small cookie scoop was used to fill each tart and I used TWO packages of crescent rolls to the amount of filling in the recipe (did not double) ending up with 36 tarts. A keeper!5 stars

  2. Really went over well at the party I took them to. I made 6 without bacon and then added the bacon for the remaining 12. Sprinkled bacon on top of those ones, the ones without bacon still tasted great (for a vegetarian option). I did add a dash of salt.

I agree that you should print out the recipe for others.5 stars

    1. I haven’t tried freezing them so I can’t say for sure Nan but I do worry they will not freeze well. If you try it I would love to hear how it turns out!

  3. I love these! A local eatery makes jalapeño popper egg rolls, but they only make them a couple of days a month so I needed something to satisfy the craving in between. These were perfect and I’ve made them several times.5 stars

      1. I used finely diced fresh jalapeños and they were great. I did not measure them but I did put about 4 jalapeños in them.

  4. These are awesome! I made them for a party and they were gone within the hour. I had everyone asking for the recipe afterwards. Definitely an easy app if your searching for something quick that everyone will love. Even those that dont like spicy said these were amazing!5 stars
