We love Jalapeno Poppers around here!  I’ll pretty much each jalapenos any which way they’re served…  grilled, in a jalapeno popper dip or even as an egg roll!

I actually make Jalapeno popper dip frequently and it’s one recipe everyone always asks for.  I figured that same delicious dip would be amazing in an easy to hold two-bite appetizer.  Let me tell you, I was right.. these are delicious!  I recently brought these to a party and they were a smashing success…  and of course I was asked for the recipe (so be sure to print a few extras)!

  1. I made these for a party last night and everyone loved them and wanted the recipe. I did have some of the mixture left over so I added it to some scrambled eggs this morning.  It was yummy!! Will definitely make these again.  Thanks!5 stars

    1. I think these would be good putting the mixture into boiled egg halves! You know, like a deviled egg, but without the egg yolk… What do y’all think?

  2. I made these for a party last night and they were a huge hit. Everyone loved them and wanted the recipe.  I did have some of the mixture left over so I scrambled some eggs this morning and added some of the deliciousness to them. It melted into the eggs and was so yummy.  I will definitely be making these again.  Thanks!

    1. I have only tried it as written, but think puff pastry could work. Let us know if you try it Shelly!

    1. I would suggest reheating them in the oven just until warmed (I’ve served them at room temperature before too).

  3. This was sooooo good! Wonderful recipe! All my neighbors complimented my cooking
This recipe is a definite do-again!!!!!

  4. To all those who have made this recipe, would you say the texture is more flaky or is it more gooey? I am going for something gooey and cheesy, similar to what a pepper popper would be like. They do look yummy!

  5. Are these best served warm, or would they work okay at room temperature? I’m considering making them for a wedding shower and don’t have a good way to serve them warm.

    1. I do usually serve these warm however we have left them out and enjoyed them at room temperature as well.

  6. Can these be left in the fridge unbaked with the filling until you are ready to serve (in the muffin tim)…pop in oven and serve fresh? Or is it best to bake them then reheat them for guests? Do they reheat ok?

    1. I haven’t tried it with this recipe but I have made other crescent roll recipes ahead of time and baked them just before serving. I would think fresh would be best and if it’s just a few hours ahead of time it should work just fine.

  7. How do you start with 1 1/4 cups cheese per the ingredients list and only use 2/3 cup per the directions?

    1. In step 1 you set aside ⅓ cup of cheese and all remaining ingredients in a bowl (including all of the remaining cheese).

In step 4 you top them with the ⅓ cup of cheese you set aside in step 1. Hope that helps.

  8. Just made this recipe today, and it was super easy! I took it to a work pot-luck and everybody loved it! It is so worth making. Everyone kept asking me how I made it and if I could make more.

  9. Yum! I know what you mean about loving jalapeno anything.. I am the same way! I swear I’ve stopped dating guys because they said they wouldn’t eat spicy food o_o haha… Can’t wait to try these! Thanks for sharing :)

  10. When I saw this, I could not click fast enough! There’s a place in Raleigh that makes the BEST jalapeno cheddar rolls, and I have been missing them so much. These look like they could be just the thing to cure my longing. Pinning!
