Mini Ice Cream Cone Cupcakes!

The other day when I was getting groceries, I found the cutest little mini ice-cream cones!  I just had to buy them…  and then I realized they would make ADORABLE mini Ice Cream Cone Cupcakes!
ice cream cone cupcakes with red sprinkles

I bought a store brand box mix and a can of whipped cream and I was set to go!  I filled the cups 3/4 full and on some of them, the batter spilled out on one side.  I think it was the mix though.  Even then, they turned out so cute and were a huge hit with the kids!  I let them cool and then just piped whipped cream from a can on top and some little sprinkles!  Frosting would work too!

I had some leftovers and was worried they wouldn’t be good the next day and that the cone would be soggy… I popped them into a Ziploc bag (they didn’t have whipped cream on them) and left them until the next evening.  They were still delicious and the cone was not mushy!

Change up the sprinkles and they are perfect for any occasion!!
