No-bake, no fuss… Millionaire Pie is simple to make and the best part is that it tastes delicious! There’s a very good reason this is one of the top recipes of all time on my blog!

We’ve served ambrosia salad at every holiday meal for as long as I can remember.  It’s such a great side and as a kid I always felt like I was having dessert with my dinner.  This pie has a similar flavor so if you like ambrosia salad, you’ll love this pie (plus pretty much anything with sweetened condensed milk has to be amazing right?!)!

Millionaire Pie with a cherry on top on two plates

This pie starts out with a base of sweetened condensed milk mixed with lemon juice (which causes it to thicken).  Once thickened, all of the yummy add-ins are mixed in including cherries, pineapple, coconut, and pecans.  It’s all poured into a graham crust and put in the fridge to set.

That’s it, no baking, no stove… just easy-peasy stir and pour!

Millionaire Pie cut into slices

You’ll want to make sure you squeeze out your pineapple as much as you can just to make sure your pie sets up well.  If you don’t have a store-bought graham crust, of course, this works with a homemade graham cracker crust.

Note:  If you do adapt this recipe to your tastes, do not leave out the lemon juice.  The addition of lemon juice thickens the pie and if you skip it your pie will be runny.

  1. I do want to try this, but what size can of sweetened condensed milk do I use?…..i think it comes in two sizes…..Thank You

  2. Thank you in advance for the recipe. Just sent my husband to market to purchase items I didn’t have. YUM-O! Sounds so good.

Thank You for adding me to your list to receive other recipes.

  3. Just made this to bring to Thanksgiving dinner tomorrow along with other pies. Looks like it will set up nicely but mine is more pink than in your photo and also tastes pretty much like lemon juice……hoping as it sets overnight the other flavors will be more prominent! Is that your experience as far as taste, gets better as it sits? Thanks

  4. My recipe calls for a large can sliced peaches , drained and cut in small pieces.and large container of coolwhip insread of whipping cream and it makes 2 pies not one. Using 2 graham cracker crusts

  5. Hi. I can’t have dairy. I was wondering if I could use full fat coconut milk cooked to be condensed milk units place?

    1. I haven’t tried it with coconut milk so I can’t say for sure. While I think it would taste great, the condensed milk is thicker so I’m not sure if it would set up properly.

    2. My brother is lactose intolerant, but loves dairy products. He takes Lactaid™ tablets before eating dairy yummies and has no problems.

  6. You don’t need graham crackers at all to make a (sweet) crumb crust. Just about any type of plain cookie works well, and vanilla wafers are likely at the top of the list, as Holly mentioned, but I even once used those butter pecan packaged cookies for a cheesecake crumb crust, which turned out beautifully. I also noticed that someone else mentioned using Oreos, and those working well, so there are many possibilities for your crumb crust.

  7. Does the recipe require fresh lemon juice, or can it be from the plastic lemon bottle found by real lemons at the grocery store? Thanks!

  8. I made this and it was way too sweet. If I was to try it again I wouldn’t use the sweetened condensed milk but maybe somehow substitute with cream cheese.

    1. The condensed milk is really what makes it set and gives it body so I’m not sure if it would work without.

  9. My grandmother had a recipe very similar to this that we make for all the major holidays. It has cranberry sauce and nuts in it and is frozen. I can’t wait to try this pie version!

  10. I have made this recipe for years. I use cool whip 12 oz. 1 can sweetened milk 5 Tablespoons of lemon juice. then you can crush up oreo cookies (1/2 bag) makes 2 pies. I have also used fresh strawberries, mixed fruit, banana and coconut. Just make sure you drain fruit well

  11. I like making a 9 x 13 dish of sugar free Jello and spread this evenly over for a topping,.. Nice for a warm summer evening.

  12. I made this for a potluck dinner this weekend. It was so very easy to make and tasted like a million :) Thanks for posting the recipe.
