Creamsicle Parfaits make for a fantastic sweet treat or dessert any night of the week. Layers of creamy orange goodness create a dessert that is colorful and packed with a lot of sweet, juicy orange flavor!
If you’re looking for a quick easy dessert idea, Creamsicle Parfaits are the perfect treat for a warm spring or summer day! They come together in a flash; they are packed with tons of flavor from orange juice and sweet mandarin oranges, and best of all, you don’t have to heat up your kitchen to bake anything for this luscious dessert recipe!
I remember being a kid and eating Creamsicles on a hot summer day, that tart orange shell with the creamy middle. I haven’t had one for a while (although I’ve made Creamsicle Pie about 100 times) but I sure do love them!
If you’re looking for something to take along to a BBQ or party, these always get rave reviews! I make these Creamsicle Parfaits in plastic cups for serving but you can certainly make them in mason jars and put a lid on them for easy travel like I did with my Oreo Cheesecake Parfaits!
Be sure not to skip the orange extract in this recipe, it really boosts the creamy orange flavor! The graham cracker crumbs in the layers of this dessert give it a little bit of texture and taste delicious! I almost feel like I am indulging in pie when I have this!
Items You’ll Need For This Recipe
* Orange Extract *Graham Crackers * Orange Jello *
- 1 package orange Jell-O
- ½ cup orange juice

- Layer orange cream, oranges and graham crumbs in small glasses/jars. Top with whipped cream and reserved orange segments.

3 Cups of whipped topping…is that 3 cups measured or 3 – 8oz tubs of cool whip? Do you use cool whip?
3 measured cups of whipped topping (cool whip is great!)
Awesome idea. Used vegan jello and the cooling time is longer but otherwise worked fine. Put some vanilla extract in, and used ladyfingers since I had no graham crackers.
Sounds delicious Sarah!
Can this be made ahead of time?..Looks yummy!
Yes, they can be made ahead of time.
Will make these for my hubby. He loves oranges. Love images :)
How many serving did this recipe make? What size serving cup did you put it in?
This makes 4 parfaits. I would suggest an 8 oz container.
Can I use o.j. from actual oranges or what do you suggest??? (not sure how fresh orange juice will react with whipped topping)
You can use fresh orange juice or store bought.
Is this a small or large box of jello?
This is the 4 servings sized box (small).
I wish I could just grab one of those beauties! Super yumm!
Creamsicles are one of my favorite frozen treats, I love that you turned it into a parfait! I can’t wait to try this recipe!
I think they are perfect for those days that you really don’t want to turn the oven on and bake! I hope you enjoy them!
Sounds delicious!! I would love to try it before it’s get cold here in Brisbane.
This looks soo GOOD Molly ! Would love to try this with pineapple juice and chunks. Do you think it would work out?
I think it would be great, I’d just make sure they’re well drained first.
Yum! This looks so delicious and such a clever idea!! Can’t wait for summer!!
Thank you Sam! I agree, ready for a little (or a lot) of sunshine myself!
I can almost taste the burst of orange flavor! Such a great recipe.
