Who doesn’t love S’mores?  This easy no bake pie is delicious and doesn’t take long to put together!

The filling is pretty quick to make and tastes fantastic!  If you are really in a rush, you could easily substitute it for a boxed pudding filling but it really is worth the few extra minutes to make it yourself.  When toasting the marshmallows, keep a very close eye on them because as we all know they can burn pretty quickly!

S’mores Pie (No Bake)

Who doesn’t love S’mores?  This easy no bake pie is delicious and doesn’t take long to put together!

Ingredients:

  • 1 premade graham crust
  • 1/2 cup cocoa powder
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/3 cup + 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 3 cups milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 1 1/2 cups marshmallows

Directions:

  1. In a medium sauce pan combine cocoa powder, sugar and cornstarch. Add in milk and vanilla. Bring to a boil over medium heat. Let boil 1 minute.
  2. Remove from heat and add butter.
  3. Pour into prepared crust and cool 3 hours or overnight.
  4. Top with marshmallows. Place pie on the lowest rack in the oven and turn the broil on. Broil just until marshmallows brown.

  1. This was great! Made per my 9 y.o.’s request. I baked in 6 mini graham shells for 17 minutes and then poured the extra filling into glass 1-cup Pampered Chef things, which took close to 20 minutes. I’m sure a full pie would take much longer. I used 1/2 Ghirardelli 60% and half semi-sweet (which we nearly always do for chocolatey things) and it was actually too rich! Would do all semi-sweet next time.

  2. The pie filling is SUPER runny! I made this for a barbecue and had to remake the whole thing with chocolate pudding mix. The filling sat in the fridge overnight and all sat the following day and it was still runny that night.

    • I’m sorry this didn’t work out for you, I can’t say why for sure. I’ve made this homemade chocolate pudding recipe countless times and it has never come out runny for me.

  3. The pudding is really sweet, I would use 3/4 cup of sugar or less :/
