Raspberry Mimosas are a pretty cocktail to sip on any special occasion from Valentine’s Day to Mother’s day or even Sunday brunch.
A blend of raspberry liqueur and frosty pomegranate ice cubes are topped with bubbly champagne or sparkling wine. Tips to turn it into a fun alcohol-free mocktail are in the notes.
A Pretty Twist on Mimosas
- A traditional mimosa has orange juice and sparkling wine/champagne, this version is flavored with raspberry and pomegranate.
- This champagne cocktail is full of flavor with a pretty color, perfect for Valentine’s day!
- Chambord is a delicious raspberry flavored liqueur which sweetens this drink.
- Since this is a mixed drink, inexpensive sparkling wine works perfectly.
Garnish with raspberries and pomegranate arils for the perfect pretty glass.
How to Make a Raspberry Mimosa
A mimosa traditionally contains champagne and orange juice. In this easy champagne cocktail, I’ve replaced the OJ with raspberry and pomegranate for a pretty drink to sip on!
- Freeze cran-raspberry or pomegranate juice into cubes to keep the drink frosty and looks so pretty! (Fun tip: Try heart ice cube trays or check the dollar store for fun trays).
- Add a sugar rim around the top of each glass.
- Add some raspberry liqueur per the recipe below and top with bubbly!
Quick Tips
- If you’re short on time or didn’t make ice cubes, add an ounce or so of chilled pomegranate juice in place of the cubes.
- The sugar rim around the top of each glass is pretty and sweetens each sip.
- Use plain sugar, colored sugar, or mix in a few sprinkles for any occasion.
- Check your local dollar store for cute stir sticks, straws, or even champagne flutes.
How to Make This Into Pomegranate Mocktails!
This delicious drink can easily be made into a non alcoholic version (or Mocktail)! Simply substitute the champagne for another sweetened carbonated beverage (such as ginger ale or club soda).
The fun part of this mocktail is the bubbly fizz! So no matter what carbonated beverage you choose, both young and old will find it delightfully delicious.
