Took this to a neighborhood get together, and there was literally almost nothing left! My husband said it was delicious, but that there wasn’t enough bacon. I even put in extra bacon! Because I knew he would say that. This is really delicious and not hard to make. I wasn’t sure how it was going to come out with so many ingredients but it mixed up very easily and cooked up perfectly. I’m not really big on a lot of hot sauce, but it really added to the flavor and it didn’t make it spicy at all. It was just plain delicious! Thank you.
What about omitting the hot sauce ? Does it make much difference either way?
It changes the flavor but if you prefer it without the hot sauce it won’t have a big difference in the consistency or the prep. Enjoy, Marianne.
Absolutely Outstanding Recipe! I made this as the appetizer for Easter dinner. They devoured it! It’s a keeper. Perfect recipe.
Mmmm I’ve made this before and it’s amazing. I added a pack of ranch dressing and it was so good. Thanks for sharing :)
So happy to hear that Allison!
Can you make it a day ahead and refrigerate it?
Yes, this can be made ahead of time.
AbsolutelyTastes even better!!
Can I make this in a crockpot?
Yes!! Watch your heat so that it doesn’t burn though.
Okay, so I would like a big bowl of this – do I have to share it?? Looks so good!
LOL. I think sharing is completely optional! ;)
This dip has me drooling!! Oh my goodness seriously looks so good. Wish I had come across this over the weekend for the super bowl!!
Thank you Victoria! :) It will have to be on your NEXT Super Bowl menu!
I am going through a whole dip phase, this sounds so so so yummmm!!!
I could literally live on dips alone… especially the ones with cheese!
Mmmm…looks so wonderfully rich and creamy!
Thank you Jacquee.
Not great for me as I’m a kosher vegetarian! But the photos do look delicious!!
I have a similar recipe that adds horseradish to the cheese dip. Your recipre sounds a little softer, and that makes for good dipping-yum!
Horseradish would be a delicious addition!!
Can this be done in a crock pot with a liner of course
I haven’t tried it in a slow cooker so I can’t say for sure but I think it might work if you don’t heat it for too long and once melted keep it on warm setting.
This Dip looks so delicious!!! I printed this recipe and I’m making it for my Christmas Eve Party!!! Thank You!!!
