No-bake, no fuss… Millionaire Pie is simple to make and the best part is that it tastes delicious! There’s a very good reason this is one of the top recipes of all time on my blog!

We’ve served ambrosia salad at every holiday meal for as long as I can remember.  It’s such a great side and as a kid I always felt like I was having dessert with my dinner.  This pie has a similar flavor so if you like ambrosia salad, you’ll love this pie (plus pretty much anything with sweetened condensed milk has to be amazing right?!)!

Millionaire Pie with a cherry on top on two plates

This pie starts out with a base of sweetened condensed milk mixed with lemon juice (which causes it to thicken).  Once thickened, all of the yummy add-ins are mixed in including cherries, pineapple, coconut, and pecans.  It’s all poured into a graham crust and put in the fridge to set.

That’s it, no baking, no stove… just easy-peasy stir and pour!

Millionaire Pie cut into slices

You’ll want to make sure you squeeze out your pineapple as much as you can just to make sure your pie sets up well.  If you don’t have a store-bought graham crust, of course, this works with a homemade graham cracker crust.

Note:  If you do adapt this recipe to your tastes, do not leave out the lemon juice.  The addition of lemon juice thickens the pie and if you skip it your pie will be runny.

    1. Hi Benita, we don’t have these recipes available in a paperback book but you can definitely print these out and add them to your cookbook.

  1. I did this wrong after looking at other recipes. I used “whipped topping” in the fan instead of cool whip. I just wasted my time! You should changed “whipped topping” to “cool whip” like all the other recipes!

    1. I haven’t made this with whipping cream to so I’m not sure how it would set up. I would suggest whipped topping in this recipe.

    2. I would prefer trying whipping cream as Cool Whip really isn’t suppose to be good for you. Probably whipping cream isn’t either. Guess it’s a toss between two evils!

    1. The coconut itself adds texture to the recipe. If you leave it out, you might like to add extra nuts. I haven’t tried adding coconut extract, if you do add it, I would add a small amount and taste it as extracts can be strong.

  2. I really enjoy this page
The recipes are not hard to make at all
And if you’re having a problem and leave a comment or have any questions you always get an response back

  3. Found this site and hope recipe turns out as wonderful as it looks, keep things posted as I make.

    1. Hi Paula, whipped topping is an edible oil product similar to whipped cream but comes frozen in a tub. If you can’t find that you could try whipped cream. I haven’t tried it that way so if you do, please let us know how it works for you! :)

  4. This was Fast and Absolutely Wonderful. It was a BIG HIT..So many different flavors in one bite. Reminded me of desserts in Hawaii. My friend made it with Chocolate Graham crust was equally Delish!!
    Thank you for Sharing,
    Lolli5 stars

  5. Hello from Thailand,

Your recipe looks delicious. I will be making this as there is no baking necessary. As I don’t have an oven However, I don’t like dried coconuts. So may I leave it out. If so, what would you suggest I replace it with? And I would love to use peaches (can you suggest fresh or can) in stead of pineapples. Maybe it’s because we have a large abundance amount of fresh coconuts and pineapples that we are tired of eating it. I’ll let you know it all turns out as soon as you can reply me with the suggestions I would like from you.

    Have a nice day

    1. Hi Toni!
You can leave the coconut out if you wish. I have never tried adding peaches to this, but it sounds like a tasty idea! If you try it please let me know how it turned out!

  6. I want to make your Ambrosia million dollar pie, but i’m Not sure about the
Whipped topping. Are you saying, buy heavy whipped milk to whip make whip cream or use cool whip. I want to go to th e store & get the ingredients. I think you want the real cream you whip yourself!
    Thank you, Linda Crane.

      1. Hello Holly , I was wondering if you can use COOL WHIP instead of whipping topping . Or did you mean COOL WHIP ?
        THANKS Deloris

    1. You could leave the coconut out and replace a portion of it with extra nuts (or even slivered almonds). Other readers have replaced coconut with mini marshmallows. I haven’t tried it though.
