No-bake, no fuss… Millionaire Pie is simple to make and the best part is that it tastes delicious! There’s a very good reason this is one of the top recipes of all time on my blog!
We’ve served ambrosia salad at every holiday meal for as long as I can remember. It’s such a great side and as a kid I always felt like I was having dessert with my dinner. This pie has a similar flavor so if you like ambrosia salad, you’ll love this pie (plus pretty much anything with sweetened condensed milk has to be amazing right?!)!

This pie starts out with a base of sweetened condensed milk mixed with lemon juice (which causes it to thicken). Once thickened, all of the yummy add-ins are mixed in including cherries, pineapple, coconut, and pecans. It’s all poured into a graham crust and put in the fridge to set.
That’s it, no baking, no stove… just easy-peasy stir and pour!

You’ll want to make sure you squeeze out your pineapple as much as you can just to make sure your pie sets up well. If you don’t have a store-bought graham crust, of course, this works with a homemade graham cracker crust.
Note: If you do adapt this recipe to your tastes, do not leave out the lemon juice. The addition of lemon juice thickens the pie and if you skip it your pie will be runny.

Ingredients
- 1 graham cracker crust
- 1 cup sweetened coconut flakes
- 15.25 ounces crushed pineapple well drained, 1 can
- 1 cup maraschino cherries drained & chopped
- ½ cup chopped pecans
- 1 can sweetened condensed milk 14 oz
- 5 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon maraschino cherry juice
- 1 ½ cups whipped topping plus extra for garnish if desired
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine coconut, crushed pineapple, maraschino cherries, pecans, (Eagle Brand) Sweetened Condensed Milk, lemon juice and maraschino cherry juice.
- Gently fold in whipped topping. Pour into crust.
- Top with additional whipped topping and cherries if desired. Refrigerate 3 hours or overnight.

You’ll be so glad you did Pam!!
On the amount of cool whip, is that 1 1/2 cups or one container and a half containers?
Hi Donnie, for the whipped topping, it is 1½ cups.
Thanks for sharing
Happy to share Kris! :)

Millionaires pie looks delicious
It is so delicious Alice! Enjoy!
Can I use lemon juice made from concentrate or is it necessary to use fresh lemon juice in this recipe?
Bottled lemon juice should work just fine. You’ll want to make sure the condensed milk mixture is thickened before adding the other ingredients (you can see the consistency in the video). Enjoy!
Made the Millionaire’s Pie. What a huge success it was
I tweaked the recipe as I’m in Australia & we don’t have Graham Crackers here
However I used Ginger Nut Biscuits & left out the sugar when making the base. The Ginger flavour was so awesome with the tropical flavours of the pie & everyone commented how well all the flavours married together.
I am so glad this recipe was a hit! What a wonderful idea for a graham cracker substitute Kym!
Sounds so good. Can’t wait to try. I have a friend allergic to cherries. Any idea for a substitution? She’d love to try it too.
Hi Shery, to accommodate her allergy you could definitely try leaving out the cherries and increasing the pineapple, or adding in her favorite fruit. Let us know how it turns out!
Strawberries, blueberries
Great ideas Wanda!
Can I swap the pineapple for something else like mandarin oranges drains and squeezed or anything other then pineapple?
I have only tried this as written. As long as you leave the full amount of lemon juice in the recipe I think substituting the pineapple with another canned fruit (such as peaches or mandarin oranges) should work.
dried apricots
Can u put bananas in this
We haven’t tried making this with bananas but other readers have with great success! Let us know how it turns out Carol.
I am going to try this. Just looking at the picture of this recipe is enough for me to start salivating lol.
Love it Joyce! You will have to let us know what you think.
Just love trying out different recipes
You are definitely in the right place Irene! Happy cooking!
