Beef Skewers with onions

Nothing better than dinner off the grill on a warm summer evening!!

This is one of our favorites…  a delicious marinade with soy sauce, ginger and garlic make these skewers extra tender and tasty!  (This marinade is also great on chicken!).

We love to serve this up with a side of rice, grilled veggies, and some peanut dressing for dipping!

  1. My whole family loved it! Served it with rice and potstickers instead of the ginger I used Chinese 5 spice though but only because I was out of ginger. Thanks!

  2. Can you grill this the day before & serve it heated up? Please suggest your ideas for making ahead of time & serving the next day.

    1. While it can be reheated and served the next day, I do think this dish is best served fresh off the grill.

  3. Lovely beef skewers! It looks like a great dish to be served with a little beer for a movie night! Great recipe :)

    1. The soy sauce and the lemon juice might break it down enough to be tender enough to eat off a skewer. Stew meat is a little tougher unless it is “slow” cooked to a softer consistency. I don’t think I’d use it for this.

    1. If you are using your oven, I would recommend broiling it to try to give it that crisp char you get from the grill.

  4. This was amazing! We all four enjoyed this recipe and that happens…..well, never. My youngest said that “this steak is better than the normal steak”. Thanks so much!
