No-bake, no fuss… Millionaire Pie is simple to make and the best part is that it tastes delicious! There’s a very good reason this is one of the top recipes of all time on my blog!
We’ve served ambrosia salad at every holiday meal for as long as I can remember. It’s such a great side and as a kid I always felt like I was having dessert with my dinner. This pie has a similar flavor so if you like ambrosia salad, you’ll love this pie (plus pretty much anything with sweetened condensed milk has to be amazing right?!)!

This pie starts out with a base of sweetened condensed milk mixed with lemon juice (which causes it to thicken). Once thickened, all of the yummy add-ins are mixed in including cherries, pineapple, coconut, and pecans. It’s all poured into a graham crust and put in the fridge to set.
That’s it, no baking, no stove… just easy-peasy stir and pour!

You’ll want to make sure you squeeze out your pineapple as much as you can just to make sure your pie sets up well. If you don’t have a store-bought graham crust, of course, this works with a homemade graham cracker crust.
Note: If you do adapt this recipe to your tastes, do not leave out the lemon juice. The addition of lemon juice thickens the pie and if you skip it your pie will be runny.

Ingredients
- 1 graham cracker crust
- 1 cup sweetened coconut flakes
- 15.25 ounces crushed pineapple well drained, 1 can
- 1 cup maraschino cherries drained & chopped
- ½ cup chopped pecans
- 1 can sweetened condensed milk 14 oz
- 5 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon maraschino cherry juice
- 1 ½ cups whipped topping plus extra for garnish if desired
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine coconut, crushed pineapple, maraschino cherries, pecans, (Eagle Brand) Sweetened Condensed Milk, lemon juice and maraschino cherry juice.
- Gently fold in whipped topping. Pour into crust.
- Top with additional whipped topping and cherries if desired. Refrigerate 3 hours or overnight.

Any easy way to make your own graham cracker crust is to use recipe above. Spread it out slightly evenly in pie pan, but instead of using your fingers to mash it, use the next size smaller pie plate to mash it with. I have a 9″ Corning pie plate that I use for pies & use an 8″ Pyrex one to mash it with.
Great idea!! That would make it nice and even too. Thank you for sharing!
I have a cousin who is allergic to nuts, is there something else I can use to get the crunch of the pecans. I’m making this for Thanksgiving.
You can add extra coconut in place of the pecans in this recipe.
Can’t wait to try your recipes!!
Thanks! Please let me know when you do!
Love your recipes they are fast, Easy and simply to make.
I had a recipe like this years ago. The only thing different was made with dream whip cool whip pistachio pudding and dark cherries. If any one remembers please let me know I can’t find my recipe
This looks so wonderful. I am going to print it & make it for our next get together. A different one each time. WONDERFUL.
Wonderful Recipes
Thank you Libby!
Making this for a family reunion. Instead of just cherries though I’m gonna use a can of cherry pie filling.
It looks fabulous! Got most ingredients, going to make it this weekend!
Good but way to sweet. I made it last night
Can you substitute the pineapple with something else. I have a child who is allergic to the pineapple
I have only tried this as written. As long as you leave the full amount of lemon juice in the recipe I think substituting the pineapple with another canned fruit (such as peaches) should work.
The pie was yumy thank you gor posting it
So glad you enjoyed it!
We call that filling the good stuff but I never thought to put it in a oie.
I will be trying this recipe Millionaire Pie. It looks really good.
My Mom made this when we were kids, yum!
Does the pie freeze well?
Lost this recipe a long time ago glad to have it again thank you
I have not yet made this pie. I have made a similar pie (Key lime) using condensed milk and lime juice. It is absolutely imperative to use the lemon juice for the pie to set up. Also, I found using a brand name milk also makes a difference. Looking forward to making this pie without any changes.
Great tip on the brand name milk Angie, thankyou!
I made this and its delicious and very quick and easy to make
I am so glad you came back to tell me you liked it Beth!
I have always loved Millionaire Pie.
