Ingredients For Boursin Pasta

  • Pasta: Any medium-sized pasta works in this recipe. Penne, cavatappi, rotini, or medium shells are perfect for holding all that creamy sauce.
  • Boursin Cheese: Added to the pasta water and parmesan cheese, Boursin becomes a light and incredibly flavorful sauce. Since it’s already seasoned and flavored, this recipe is incredibly easy.
  • Parmesan: For the best flavor, use freshly grated parmesan, or save time by using a shaker of cheese.

Variations

  • For an extra tangy flavor, swap out the parmesan for crumbled feta or blue cheese.
  • This recipe is perfect for adding fresh spring veggies like peas and asparagus. To make it quick, add them to the cooking water for the last couple of minutes.
  • Change the flavor with cherry tomatoes or chopped sun-dried tomatoes.
  • Garnish with herbs. Try a sprinkle of chopped fresh parsley or a fresh basil chiffonade.

Storing Leftover Pasta

Keep leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 4 days. Enjoy this Boursin pasta recipe as a cold pasta salad or reheat in the microwave with milk added or a drizzle of olive oil to loosen the sauce. Freezing cheesy pasta isn’t recommended, but this recipe is so easy, just make more!
