Velcro is a super handy thing to have around the house! You can use it for storage, hanging, as well as organizing. You can get velcro really cheap at the dollar store, the hardware store or even online!
Check out these unique uses for velcro.
Keep pens handy: Attach one end of the velcro to your pen, and the other to your fridge, your bedside table, or your phone. You’ll always have a pen when you need it!
Prevent breaks: Stick velcro to the bottoms of your lamps, picture frames and other breakables on your side tables. It will keep the cats from knocking them over, or the toddlers from picking them up.
No slide seat cushions: Prevent your seat cushions from wandering with a little velcro on the underside!
Keep it together: Hold an unruly or low cut shirt from falling open with a small piece of velcro.
Remote controls: Keep your remotes for your tv, stereo, or DVD player from walking off with a little velcro. Stick it to the side table or the wall near the tv!
Keep wires under wraps: Wrap some of your wildest wires in double-sided velcro to tame them.
Hang pictures: Velcro is sturdy enough to hold picture frames, valances, and other window treatments, but make sure to check the weight of your object and that the velcro is of a high enough grade before hanging!
