It’s no secret that while I love the occasional sweet treat, I’m all about the savory snacks.  Bring me chips and dip or cheese over chocolate and candy any day of the week!

I love making party mixes because they’re totally irresistible and so easy peasy to put together! Since everyone loves them so much, they’re also the perfect easy gift to give as a thank you or even as a holiday gift!

My mother always made a party mix for parties and holidays and my family loved it!

It was usually made with a mixture of soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce and a dash of celery salt or garlic salt. While I definitely loved it, this amazing ranch flavored mixture completely takes the cake!

It takes just minutes to prepare and cooks effortlessly in the Crock Pot for the perfect munchable mix!

I love all things Ranch! Ranch flavored chips, spinach ranch dip, ranch potatoes and ranch dressing! So when I thought about adding a little zest to my usual party mix, sprinkling in a packet of Hidden Valley Ranch Seasoning Mix dressing mix just seemed like a natural thing to do.

This easy Ranch Party Mix is so surprisingly different, delicious and tangy that it’ll be the first thing gone at your next holiday party!

I’ve included my exact ingredients in the recipe below but you can most definitely change it up and add your own flare!

Either add what you have in your cupboard or what you prefer until you have about 10 cups of dry cereals/nuts/pretzels total. When choosing cereals, you’ll just want to make sure they’re not sweetened cereals. And don’t stop at cereal, add in your favorite pretzels,  mini crackers, pecans, almonds, peanuts or whatever other snacks you love! The only limit is your imagination!

This party mix is great to share and makes a perfect and easy gift to give (we give it out as gifts to teachers and coaches in our lives too)! It can easily be prepared ahead of time, divided into individual portions and sealed up to be enjoyed later!

For gift giving, I head to Walmart to purchase pretty glass or ceramic bowls or even cute mugs (and everything else I need for the party mix).  I fill each dish with Ranch Party Mix and seal it with Glad® Press‘n Seal® to keep everything fresh.  Finally, I wrap it with clear cellophane and tie it with a pretty ribbon! Not only does the Glad Press ‘n Seal keep food super fresh, it holds the contents in place and seals completely (even in cold weather) meaning my mix stays in the bowl and looks just as pretty as the day I packaged it!

This party mix is so versatile and  while it’s great for gifts, it’s also a great snack to send to school with your kids or to keep on hand as they come home ravenous! Simply place it in single servings in the cupboard, seal them with Glad Press ‘n Seal and they’re ready for your kids to grab and go!

Ranch Party mix is so easy to make, zesty and delicious you will want to keep a batch on hand for everyday and all occasions! If you’re looking for more great holiday recipes, you can find them here at Walmart.com!
