Not only are they pretty and look festive with the reds and greens, they’re great because you can prep them up to 24 hours ahead of time making them the perfect holiday snack or appetizer!

The flavors in this recipe are perfect… creamy cream cheese, salty feta and sweet dried cranberries. You can use green onions in place of the chives, I personally like the chives as they have a milder flavor.
While I’ve used white flour tortillas in this recipe, you can certainly use red (tomato) and green (spinach) tortillas to make them festive and add even more color!

The filling can be mixed by hand but I find using a mixer to beat the cream cheese makes it light and fluffy (and much easier to spread). If you find your cream cheese hard to spread, just add in about 1/4 cup of sour cream.
Be sure to divide the mixture between 4 large tortillas so there isn’t too much filling. Leaving a 1/2″ border helps to ensure the filling doesn’t overflow. When rolling, you’ll want to roll them as tightly as you can and then wrap them in plastic wrap and refrigerate for up to 24 hours before cutting and serving.

The feta mixture can be difficult to spread. I’ve found that the back of a metal spoon works the best.

I made this recipe for the holidays because they look festive, but 4 out of 5 of my family members didn’t like them because there were way too many cranberries. 3/4 cup cranberries would probably better. I won’t be making these again.
Sorry you didn’t enjoy these, they’re one of our favorites!
I added even more cranberries (almost 2 cups worth) and used goat cheese.. These were amazing
Thank you for sharing!
Made these for Christmas dinner. All I had on hand were high fiber low carb tortillas. And i used dried chives. There were ZERO left! Even the kiddos ate them. Next time i will use fresh chives for sure but otherwise stick to the recipe. Amazingly tasty and almost guilt free!
I’m so glad everyone loved them! :)
Barbara, you can check out Holly’s Easy Low Carb website for more low carb recipes!
Hi,
Can these be made 2 days in advance and kept in the fridge? Or do they become soggy?
Thanks fir the great recipes.
Brenda
I have only made these up to 24 hours in advance.
Thanks, I just made them. They look so yummy!!
Do you recommend toasting these up or slightly warming them at all?
We serve them cold or room temperature.
Can I use fresh cranberries? Should I cook them down first?
I would recommend using dried cranberries in this recipe.
Can you use regular cranberries or should I go buy the dried?
It’s definitely easier and tastes better with dried cranberries.
I just made these for a Saturday night party. Massive hit!! Even had requests for the recipe. Thanks for sharing
I’m so glad everyone loved them!
Thanks for this recipe. I adapted it and made it for my slimming world group taster session, it went down a storm!
I’m so glad everyone enjoyed it Tracey!
Tracey, what did you change? I had lower fat cream cheese on hand but just went with the full and used low carb tortillas and they were soooooooo good.
These look so yummy I can’t wait to make them . Thanks for posting
Enjoy Mary Jane!
I didn’t buy enough dried cranberries, can I substitute with golden raisins??
I think that sounds like a good substitute! There’s no harm in altering these recipes to your needs. Raisins and cranberries are both sweet, so I say, give it a go! Let me know how it turns out :)
What other cheeses could you use instead? We do not care for feta or blue cheese which someone else suggested.
I’ll be adding brie as a substitute for the feta.
Goat cheese worked great. Fantastic
Great recipes!
Thank you!
I’m going to make them using blue cheese crumbles instead of the feta.
Yum! I love blue cheese!
How do you think this would work with goat cheese instead of feta cheese?
I haven’t tried it but it sounds like it would work! Please let me know how it is if you do try it!
I made them with goat cheese instead of feta and spring onions instead of chives (none in my grocery store) for my Christmas Eve appetizers. They were GREAT!!! They are even better as leftover too. Thank you so much for the recipe and the advise.
I’m so glad you loved them Lisa! Thank you for coming back and letting us know how they worked out for you. I love goat cheese so I’ll definitely have to give it a try!!
I made it with goat cheese. It was amazing a bit milder than feta
Thank you for recipe. I can’t wait to try it!
Enjoy!!
I just made these for a party tonight. Very good – I am thinking next time I will add chopped pecans!
These are beautiful, Holly. I bet you throw the best parties EVER!! xo
Thank you, Andi! They are a hit at the holiday parties!
Holly I want to make these for Christmas Eve Party. Do they need anything to dip them in or they do fine as a stand alone item?
We don’t dip them in anything.
So pretty and so festive! And easy, and I would love the texture of the cranberries in them! mmm!
The cranberries are Kailey’s favorite part too! :)
Great recipes
Thank you Susie! :)
