These were way too fun to make!  The best part was once they were frozen, removing the balloon to reveal the cool designs inside… some had bubbles, some had crystals and lines… they were just SO fun for my daughter.

Directions:

  1. Open a ballooon and add 10-12 drops of food coloring (optional, these look cool just clear too).
  2. Fill with water and tie off balloon.  Give the balloon a little shake to distrubute the color.
  3. Place outside in the the snow for a minimum of 48 hours.  (Even at 10F they were not frozen through after 24 hours).
  4. Make a little cut in the ballooon and then gently rub (it will just peel off) and set your globes to line your driveway or sidewalk

Note: You may like to wear black gloves when peeling the balloons off so the color doesn’t transfer to your hands.
