Branding is important for any business; it is the way your customers and clients (or in my case readers and brands I work with) view your business. Branding is how you visually (and physically) tell your business story.

Make a Lasting Impression.

When I attended my first blogging conference back in 2012, we were at a table where we shared business cards with one another.ย  There was one card that was placed in my hand that made quite an impression on me (and a lasting impression at that, it’s 5 years later and I still remember it). The business card handed to me completely stood out in both quality and beauty andย  I actually pulled the lady aside to ask where it was from and she said it was a MOO business card.

Needless to say, I have just ordered my third batch of MOO business cards. I truly believe you have only one chance to make a first impression… and with a business card that first impression often becomes your last impression as well.

When I meet bloggers I’d like to connect with or brands that I would like to work with, it is important that my first impression makes an impact! When I walk away, I also want to leave that same great impression with them โ€“ one that they will remember and MOO business cards do exactly that!

My Branding Story

Spend With Pennies first started out as a place for me to share my favorite tips to save money and make living on a budget easier. As much as I loved sharing money saving ideas, my true passion was in sharing my favorite kitchen tips and more importantly, my favorite recipes.

As my blog began to evolve towards recipes and all things kitchen, it became very important to create a brand identity that would reflect this. Since the name of my site didn’t exactly scream “recipes” it was important that my readers immediately knew that my site is dedicated to bringing quick and easy comforting recipes.

Recreating my brand image was the first huge step in this evolution! A combination of branding essentials including a beautiful new logo, a catchy tagline, and new fresh colors helped reflect my new identity and brought my vision to life.

Once my new branding was in place online, I knew it was time to haveย business products that reflected my new image.
MOO Business Cards, notecards and stickers were the perfect products to represent my brand with high quality stationery and premium print quality.ย  ย They feature an easy-to-use website allowing for the uploading of custom designs or the ease of premade templates.

Do you NEED Business Cards as an Online Business?

The simple answer is definitely yes!ย You may think that because my business is built on the internet and based heavily on social media, that person-to-person business products would be obsolete. In fact, it is quite the opposite. The individual and personal touch that business cards, notes, professional letterhead or stickers provide is truly a fantastic way to set yourself apart from the rest.

I have added premium MOO notecards to my arsenal. Like most industries, in the blogging world, it is important to make yourself stand out and a personal handwritten note sent to clients does just that. It allows me to express how much I truly appreciate each opportunity I have to bring great brands to life and share them with my readers.ย  In turn, these opportunities allow me to continue doing what I love… creating great recipes!

In today’s digital world, a personalized hand written touch is a great way to leave a lasting positive impression and to be distinct. I can’t think of a better way to professionally represent my brand than leaving premium quality products in the hands of my clients.

If you haven’t already, consider adding a personal touch to your day-to-day business dealings. It not only tells your clients and customers that you care, it really makes a great impression in a digital world. If you’re looking raise your own brand awareness for any type of small business, MOO business products are hands down my favorite for quality.

  1. I don’t have business cards. I know…. I know. I think I need to check Moo out and this is a great post!

  2. The cards are gorgeous! I can’t wait to check them out. I especially love the square ones. What are they called?

    1. Thank you Donna! They’re the nicest cards I’ve ever seen! The square cards can be found under Business Cards and you should see the square option in the drop down menu once you’ve selected a card type.
