Peaches and Cream

Fresh peaches in a cinnamon kissed syrup are topped with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. 


  • 4 small peaches or 3 large
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 tablespoon water optional
  • 1/3 cup heavy cream
  • 1 1/3 cup vanilla ice cream


  • Cut peaches into slices and set in a small saucepan.
  • Mix with sugar, cornstarch, cinnamon, and water and bring to a boil.
  • Cover and simmer for 5 minutes or until liquid starts to become syrup-like consistency.
  • Spoon into 4 bowls and top with vanilla ice cream and cream.
