Grilled Potato Packets

Ingredients

  • 3 lbs Potatoes cut 1/3 inch thick
  • Butter
  • Salt & Pepper
  • Non-stick spray
  • Foil
Optional Toppings
  • 1 small Onion
  • Mushrooms
  • Real Bacon Bits
  • Cheese

Instructions

  1. Rip off 1 piece of foil for each packet you'd like to make and lay them out on the table or counter. Spray the foil with non stick spray
  2. Wash and slice potatoes (and onions/mushrooms if using).
  3. Place potato slices (approx 1 potato per packet) and any optional toppings on each foil piece. Top with a generous pat of butter and salt/pepper to taste. Fold each packet closed.
  4. Bake in the oven at 375 for 40 minutes or until potatoes are cooked through. Grill on medium for 30 minutes or until soft. Or cook over the campfire for about 20-30 minutes avoiding direct flames.
