Not only are these Slow Cooker BBQ Beef Sandwiches a crowd pleaser they’re really easy to make! The great thing cooking meat in a slow cooker is that the less expensive cuts of meat tenderize the best and don’t dry out (which is why pulled pork is always so good in the slow cooker)! The low and slow cooking method gives you beef so tender you can easily shared it with a fork.

Ingredients

  • 1 boneless chuck roast (approx 4-5 lbs)
  • 1 cup chili sauce
  • 2 cloves garlic , minced
  • 1/4 cup minced white onion
  • 1/2 cup ketchup
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons molasses
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
  • 1/2 tablespoon dried parsley
  • salt & fresh ground pepper to taste
  • rolls & slaw for serving

Instructions

  1. Combine all ingredients except rolls & slaw in the slow cooker.
  2. Cook on low for 8-10 hours or until meat is fork tender.
  3. Remove beef from the slow cooker and shred with a fork.
  4. Skim any fat off of the liquid and add beef back into the sauce. Cook an additional 20-30 minutes.
  5. Serve on rolls with slaw.

Recipe Notes

Note: Once you add beef back into the sauce, this can be kept on warm in the slow cooker.
