Welcome to our 14th weekly meal plan! (if you missed last week’s you can find it here) I hope this plan makes your week just a little bit easier and inspires you in the kitchen! Every Sunday I will be sharing a list of yummy main dish ideas! This week’s plan features a variety of dishes that are perfect for lunch and dinner and you’ll also find a couple of delicious desserts!
I definitely love the idea of planning the week ahead of time! Not only does it make the grocery shopping easy but I find I spend so much less time trying to come up with ideas when I do it all at once or my week is planned! (I’ve also got a free Printable Grocery list here). Of course these meals can be made in any order. I’ve left one day free for date night, included some suggestions for sides and of course you’ll find some delicious desserts to finish off the week!
I hope you enjoy these suggestions as much as I did! Please be sure to stop by and visit each of the blogs below who have shared their yummy dishes with us!
The week gets started off with this delicious Black Bean & Corn Enchilada Quinoa Casserole! This is a hearty meal and a healthier Mexican style casserole. I’m not a big fan of quinoa, but I have a feeling me (and everyone else) is going to LOVE this dish! A crisp tossed salad would make a great side.
This Slow Cooker Chicken Pot Pie Soup is a yummy twist on classic chicken pot pie! It’s super easy to make and is perfect now that it’s starting to get cooler out. Serve with breadsticks or homemade 30 Minute Dinner Rolls on the side.
You can skip take-out this week thanks to this delicious Chicken Lo Mein recipe! I’ve made this several times and it’s so much tastier than anything you can order over the phone. I love serving homemade egg rolls on the side with this dish.
You don’t have to be a fan of cauliflower to fall in love with this Copycat Zupas Wisconsin Cauliflower Soup! I love that this recipe can be tweaked to make it healthier and still keep all the flavor. I plan on serving rolls and a salad on the side.
I hope you don’t mind there is a breakfast dish in this week’s lineup….I sure don’t because this Cereal Smoothie Bowl- Raspberry Vanilla sounds amazingly delicious! My kids are going to love this too and it’s a super healthy way to start the day.
This Chicken Bacon Ranch Pasta is another delicious and easy dinner recipe that the whole family will love! Feel free to add in a veggie or two like broccoli..the kids will still gobble it up I’m sure! Salad and bread are classic pasta dish sides that would go great with this meal.
We finish the week up with this flavorful Sicilian Chicken Soup! Now that it’s fall and getting cooler, I’m so happy to see all this delicious soup recipes this week. I love that this can be cooked on the stovetop OR the slow cooker. I’ll be serving crusty french bread with this to sop up all the broth!
What week wouldn’t be complete without something sweet to finish off the day? Here are a couple of amazing recipes for a perfect dessert!
I hope you’ve enjoyed this meal plan brought to you by my friends below and I hope we’ve inspired you in the kitchen this week! I would love to hear your feedback and which recipes you made and loved!! Have a fabulous week!
