Welcome to our 13th weekly meal plan! (if you missed last week’s you can find it here) I hope this plan makes your week just a little bit easier and inspires you in the kitchen! Every Sunday I will be sharing a list of yummy main dish ideas! This week’s plan features a variety of dishes that are perfect for lunch and dinner and you’ll also find a couple of delicious desserts!
I definitely love the idea of planning the week ahead of time! Not only does it make the grocery shopping easy but I find I spend so much less time trying to come up with ideas when I do it all at once or my week is planned! (I’ve also got a free Printable Grocery list here). Of course these meals can be made in any order. I’ve left one day free for date night, included some suggestions for sides and of course you’ll find some delicious desserts to finish off the week!
I hope you enjoy these suggestions as much as I did! Please be sure to stop by and visit each of the blogs below who have shared their yummy dishes with us!
This Slow Cooker Pot Roast French Dip Sandwich recipe couldn’t be any easier! All you need to do it pop a few simple ingredients in the slow cooker and let it simmer for a few hours! Green Bean Fries would make a great side for this meal.
Velveted Chicken and Veggie Stir-Fry is packed with flavor and protein, but is light on the calories! Served over rice or quinoa, this is a healthy meal the whole family is sure to love! I plan on making Homemade Egg Rolls to go with this dish.
The best part about these Slow Cooker Pulled Pork Sandwiches with Zesty Slaw is that you just pop it into the slow cooker and let it cook all day… and then dinner is ready when you are! I’ve made this a few times and we all love it. I like to serve a green veggie on the side (Oven Baked Asparagus Fries go great with it)!
You can add another EASY slow cooker meal to this week’s lineup thanks to this Slow Cooker Chicken Posole recipe! This soup is loaded with Mexican flavors and you can swap pork with the chicken if your family prefers. I’ll be serving tortilla chips on the side with some homemade Avocado Dip to complete the meal.
I am loving this Pineapple Salsa Chicken recipe because it’s so versatile! It makes a delicious filling to use for burritos or tacos OR you can choose to serve it over rice for a super easy meal. The tough part is deciding how to serve it first!
I was getting a little nervous thinking there wasn’t going to be an Asian inspired dish this week, but there is thanks to this Coconut Lime Shrimp recipe! It sounds fancy, but it’s really easy to make and is on the table in just 20 minutes! Serve some rice on the side or pour the shrimp and yummy sauce right on top of it.
What week wouldn’t be complete without something sweet to finish off the day? Here are a couple of amazing recipes for a perfect dessert!
I hope you’ve enjoyed this meal plan brought to you by my friends below and I hope we’ve inspired you in the kitchen this week! I would love to hear your feedback and which recipes you made and loved!! Have a fabulous week!
