I don’t know about you guys, but I love pajamas. In fact, I frequently spend a good portion of the day in my PJ’s and have now dubbed them my work uniform. Yup, a good day at the office will see me in my pj’s until 2pm… and then back in them at 7pm!
As long back as I can remember, my mom bought us matching pajamas every Christmas eve. My sisters and I were always so excited to get our little matching Christmas jammies because it meant Santa was on his way. I continued the tradition with my own family… and I know that many of you also have the same tradition.
I loved getting my kids matching Christmas pajamas … but now that they’re older it’s not so easy to find matching PJs. My older kids wear adult sizes and my youngest is still in children’s sizes, not to mention I need both girls and boys styles. I was SUPER excited to learn that Sleepyheads.com offered a full line of matching family pajamas that would fit everyone… men, women & children!
Let me say, that choosing was the hard part… they have so many cute designs it was hard to pick but I decided on the tartan plaid because I loved the color! I ordered the sizes I thought we needed and they arrived quickly! (Bonus if you need them right away!). I always like to run new clothes through the wash before we wear them the first time and I have to say, right out of the package I loved how thick and soft the flannel felt. When I put them on, the material was awesome, soft and cozy.
The women’s bottoms (in both styles) have one of my favorite fits! It’s very rare to find pajama bottoms with a low rise waist. In addition, I love the thick ribbon tie at the waist of the women’s bottoms (the men’s style had a matching tartan drawstring). There were pockets in the pants of all of these which I loved and the button shirts had pockets as well!
All of us found the Sleepyhead pajamas to be extremely comfy because while the material was soft and cozy, they seemed to breathe well and didn’t get overly hot.
The sizing for the adult pajamas was standard compared to most pairs I already have and I was able to easily select the right size for everyone. I did find that the kids jammies ran a little bit small and would probably recommend going up a size from your child’s usual size.
The price points are great when you take into account the quality of both the material and the way these pajamas are made. I personally am in love with these jammies and am already trying to decide on what the next pattern I will buy is!
Not only do they have matching family pjs but there is TONS more to check out:
An added note: Getting photographs of 4 kids, no matter how old, is not as easy as you’d think. Apparently they all have different blink schedules and it was near impossible to get all of their eyes open…. Not to mention my 17 year old son who told me the only way he would allow a picture of him on the internet in pajamas would be if he were posing in downward dog. We settled on hanging out with his sisters… And tons of being silly.
