If you have a beauty problem but no time to go to the salon, drug store or mall then check out these 10 quick and unexpected solutions to common beauty conundrums.

Dryer Sheets:  If you don’t have time to shower and style your hair then rub a dryer sheet on it.  You will have lovely smelling hair without fly aways or frizz.  Also great for a blouse or skirt that has static cling, just rub it along the inside and viola!
Old shimmer eye shadow for your HAIR:  If you can’t fit in (or afford) a trip the colorist, use eye shadow as a root touch up.  Simply spray your roots with hairspray and then brush on a color of shimmer eye shadow similar to the color you are trying to copy.
Toothpaste for your NAILS:  Whiten and polish your nails with toothpaste!  Can you believe it?
Eggs:   Condition your hair with eggs (you can add olive oil as well) to add shine and strength to your hair.
Honey: Honey can be used as a soothing, healing and moisturizing mask for dry, red, blotchy or pimply skin.  Simply apply and let sit for 10 minutes.
Cooking spray:  Cooking spray can be used in place of “quick dry” spray for nail polish.   Stick with the original unflavored and unscented version.  You can find more tips to dry your nails quickly here.
Clear tape: Exfoliate and remove dry skin from chapped lips with clear tape.
Vinegar:  You can use white or apple cider vinegar to lessen the appearance of a bruise.  If you’re going out for a big night, the last thing you need is a nasty bruise on your leg to match your bright blue cocktail dress.  You can also use it as a hair rinse to increase shine and luster.
Hair conditioner NOT for your hair:  You can use hair conditioner as makeshift shaving cream for smooth, supple, hairless legs, bikini areas and more.
Oatmeal:  Oatmeal makes a wonderful facial or body mask.  You will have smoother, clearer, brighter skin in no time. Add some almond oil and an egg for an extra boost.
