Once you start making your own homemade dressings, you’ll never look back! This dill pickle ranch dressing whisks up fast and is full of fresh flavor.

Holly’s Recipe Highlights For Dill Pickle Ranch
- Difficulty: So easy to make! Whisk together sour cream, mayo, and spices in one bowl—ready in minutes.
- Technique: Grating the pickles with a box grater helps keep them evenly mixed. If you don’t have a grater, shake the dressing before serving as chopped pickles can sink to the bottom.
- Swaps: Swap sour cream for Greek yogurt for extra protein or use dried herbs instead of fresh to keep it budget-friendly.
- Time-Saving Tip: Make it ahead of time—it gets even better after sitting in the fridge!
- Serving suggestions: Drizzle over salads, use as a dip, or spread on sandwiches for a tangy kick.

Ingredient Tips For Dill Pickle Ranch
- Base: I use sour cream and mayonnaise as the base of this recipe. Replace sour cream with Greek yogurt if desired.
- Pickles: Use your favorite brand of dill pickles (I use these ones) or homemade pickles. Add some of the spices and garlicky bits from the pickle juice in Step 3.
- Seasonings: Fresh dill weed is great if you can but if not, use dried herbs.
Variations
- Whisk in buttermilk in place of dill pickle juice.
- Add finely diced jalapenos for little heat.

Serving and Storage
- This dressing is great over romaine, kale, or other greens.
- Use it to dip fries, drizzle over potatoes or wings.
- Keep leftover dill pickle ranch dressing in a mason jar or airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 5 days.

More Delicious Dressings
Making homemade salad dressing is a cinch and the flavor is so much better than bottled. Most dresssing are ready in less than 5 minutes and you’ll never look back.

Can’t wait to try this, family loves different ranch dressing with nugs! Would dill pickle relish (not sweet) work in place of the grated?
