Cherry cheesecake dip is a deliciously easy dessert recipe!
Cream cheese and Greek yogurt make the ‘cheesecake’ inspired base. Top it with cherries or your favorite fruit topping for a quick treat.

Ingredients for Cheesecake Dip
Cream Cheese – You can use any variety of cream cheese for this recipe, but I recommend a block-style cream cheese over the tub variety for a creamier dip. Low-fat cream cheese works just fine too.
Greek Yogurt – Greek yogurt adds a lightness to this dip and makes it easy to scoop. Use plain, vanilla, or fruit-flavored Greek yogurt if you’d like.
Cherries – Canned or homemade cherry pie filling is great in this recipe but of course and fruit flavored pie filling will work. You can also top this with fresh fruit or berries.
Variations – Add some lemon zest to the cream cheese mixture to brighten the flavors, if desired. For an extra sweet and fluffy texture, fold in some marshmallow fluff. Powdered sugar can be replaced with brown sugar if desired.
How to Make Cheesecake Dip
Is it a dip or a dessert? Why not both?
- Beat cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth (per the recipe below).
- Add vanilla and Greek yogurt and beat until fluffy.
- Spread dip on a plate and top with cherry pie filling. Serve with dippers.
MAKE AHEAD: Make it up to a day ahead and keep covered in the refrigerator. Remove about 10 minutes before serving to soften up the dip before eating.

Delicious Dippers
Any fruit, cookie or cracker will do but here are some of our favorite dippers:
- graham crackers
- vanilla wafers
- Oreo cookies
- pretzels
- slices of red and green apples
How to Store
- Keep cherry cheesecake dip in a covered container in the refrigerator for up to 4 days.
- Cherry cheesecake dip can be frozen but will thaw out grainy. Instead, freeze in ice cube trays and pop one or two out to add to a smoothie, or swirl into overnight oats!

This tasted delicious, was easy to make, and was a huge hit at a company potluck. Thank you for sharing this recipe!
Wow, so happy it was a hit!
May I ask what all anyone has used to dip in it aside from graham crackers. Would just love to hear other suggestions. Certainly sounds delicious and I’m wanting to make it.
Thank you!
I love dipping fruit in this dip! Especially apples since they hold up really well. You can also serve with pretzels for a sweet & salty pairing, or your favorite cookies, wafer sticks, or cinnamon tortilla chips!
I used Nilla Wafers

This is so good! I’ve made it several times, sometimes using cherry pie filling and sometimes using blueberry pie filling. If making for a crowd, it’s easy to double the recipe.
Could I use something in place of the yogurt? Maybe vanilla or cheesecake instant pudding? Cool whip?
Hi Samantha, we have only made this recipe as listed but would love to hear how your substitutions turn out for you!
Hi! Could softened Mascarpone be used in place of the softened cream cheese, since the two are very close in nature? Thanks!
I have never made the recipe with mascarpone. Because this is a dip, I think the softer cheese would work. Let us know if you try it Raushanah
This was so easy and delicious. I used vanilla Greek yogurt, and reduced the sugar to 1/3 cup. It was wonderful.
So glad you loved it Evelyn, we love this one too!
Delicious! I love how soft and creamy it is, and definitely healthier than a regular cheesecake. And so quick to prepare! Everything about this is perfect. Thank you!
