An Easy Dessert
Cherry Cheesecake Dip is a super simple dessert dip that comes together in just a few minutes and tastes like a big slice of our favorite cheesecake!
This dessert requires no baking and it’s easy to make. The bottom layer is a fluffy cream cheese layer with a bit of sweetness and it is topped with cherries (although you can use any kind of fruit topping from blueberry to apple pie filling or even lemon curd).
Ingredients
Cream Cheese Light cream cheese or regular cream cheese work in this recipe. The block cream cheese is thicker and makes for a better dip but if the tub is all you have on hand, by all means use that!
Greek Yogurt The addition of plain greek yogurt (I use fat free) lightens this dip up a bit and adds a bit of tang.
Pie Filling Anything goes here. Top with your favorite fruits, fresh or sweetened. If using fresh fruit, I would suggest adding a bit extra sugar to the cream cheese mixture.
It’s so delicious and you can use graham crackers, fruit, cookies, anything you like into this cheesecake dip!

This is so good! I’ve made it several times, sometimes using cherry pie filling and sometimes using blueberry pie filling. If making for a crowd, it’s easy to double the recipe.
Could I use something in place of the yogurt? Maybe vanilla or cheesecake instant pudding? Cool whip?
Hi Samantha, we have only made this recipe as listed but would love to hear how your substitutions turn out for you!
Hi! Could softened Mascarpone be used in place of the softened cream cheese, since the two are very close in nature? Thanks!
I have never made the recipe with mascarpone. Because this is a dip, I think the softer cheese would work. Let us know if you try it Raushanah
This was so easy and delicious. I used vanilla Greek yogurt, and reduced the sugar to 1/3 cup. It was wonderful.
So glad you loved it Evelyn, we love this one too!
Delicious! I love how soft and creamy it is, and definitely healthier than a regular cheesecake. And so quick to prepare! Everything about this is perfect. Thank you!
