Substitute for Mayonnaise:  You will cut down the calories and fat and add a protein boost to any recipe simply by cutting out the mayo and adding in some thick, delicious Greek yogurt.

Substitute for Sour Cream:  Same as with mayo, cut the calories, add protein and give your dish a little tang with Greek yogurt instead of sour cream.

Make Ice Pops for the Kids:  Use Greek or regular yogurt to make ice pops with molds.  Simply blend with some juice or milk to liquefy it a bit and then freeze it in a store bought mold. Yum!  Tell the kids they are ice cream pops.

Make dips:Use Greek yogurt and prepackaged dip mixes to make delicious fruit, veggie or cracker dips.

Marinate your meats:Greek yogurt is a great tenderizer for meats and adds a tangy flavor that is oh-so-yummy.

Health and Beauty

Fight gas and tummy issues in your pets:  We all know that yogurt can help calm an upset tummy in a human but you can add a bit of yogurt to your pet’s food for similar results.
Soothe a Sunburn:  Yogurt will cool and moisturize sunburned skin and allow it to heal.
Facial Mask: Just apply enough yogurt to cover your whole face and then let it work its magic for 20 minutes.  It will soothe, moisturize and revitalize your face as well as many high-end brand’s most expensive treatments.

Fun and Crafts

Finger paint:  Add a few drops of food coloring to yogurt to make edible, safe and fun finger paint for the kiddos.  Be prepared for a mess, and a lot of fun.
Moss Paint:  As a science experiment with your little ones, collect some grass and blend it up in an (old) blender with yogurt.  Then put it in your yard and, literally, watch grass (well, moss…) grow. Cool, right?
